Day 1 – January 9
Guatemala Airport > Antigua
We’ll meet early at Mexico City Airport. Upon arrival in Guatemala City, enjoy your private transfer to your hotel in Antigua. Free day.

 

Day 2 – January 10
Antigua > Acatenango
The volcano hike begins! Depart the hotel at 7:30 AM for the trek starting at 10 AM. Reach base camp around 4 PM, and enjoy incredible views of Fuego Volcano. Those who wish can take an optional hike closer to the volcano (additional cost). The day ends with dinner and overnight stay in cabins at base camp.

 

Day 3 – January 11
Acatenango > Antigua
Begin the ascent at 4 AM to witness sunrise from the summit. Afterward, begin the descent. Return to the hotel in Antigua around midday. Free afternoon.

 

Day 4 – January 12
Antigua > Flores
Time to go to our next destination. Fly to Flores. Hotel transfer and guided tour of Tikal, where you’ll visit one of the most stunning Maya ruins with a tour guide. Free time to explore the island.

 

Day 5 – January 13
Flores > Guatemala City
Flight to Guatemala and transfer to hotel. City tour.

 

Day 6 – January 14
Guatemala > Return
Transfer to the airport for flight to Mexico City.
