Day 1: Tuxtla > San Cristóbal de las Casas
Arrival at Tuxtla Airport and transfer to your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Sumidero Canyon Tour
Start your adventure with a boat ride along the Grijalva River through the majestic Sumidero Canyon. After the two-hour ride, enjoy panoramic views from the canyon’s scenic viewpoints. Continue to the charming Magic Town of Chiapa de Corzo, home to La Pila — a unique Mudéjar-style fountain made of brick — the Santo Domingo Temple, the Laca Museum, and the ruins of the San Sebastian Temple. Don’t miss the sacred ceiba tree — a sacred tree, connected to the foundation of the city— and the clock tower. Enjoy local delicacies such as cochito horneado, traditional sweets like suspiros, chimbos and nuegados, and the famous beverage pozol. Return to San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Day 3: El Chiflón Waterfalls & Montebello Lakes
Visit the breathtaking El Chiflón waterfalls, including El Suspiro, Ala de Ángel, Arco Iris, Quinceañera and the spectacular Velo de Novia, plunging 120 meters into natural, turquoise pools. Then continue to the Montebello Lakes, famous for their stunning karst landscapes and lush pine forests adorned with orchids and bromeliads. Return to San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Day 4: Agua Azul, Misol-Ha & Palenque
Check out and begin the journey to Palenque. After a 2-and-a-half-hour drive, there is a stop to have breakfast (not included). After that, visit Agua Azul, a protected area known for its turquoise waterfalls. Once there, there will be some time to walk around, swim and enjoy the views. Continue to Misol-Ha, a 30-meter-high waterfall forming a beautiful natural pool. Upon arrival in Pueblo Magico Palenque, enjoy a tasty, local lunch (not included). Visit the Palenque Archaeological Site, where you can admire the impressive Mayan temples and architecture. Local guide services available for an in-depth cultural experience (not included). Overnight in Palenque.
Day 5: Palenque
Enjoy a free day to relax or explore optional excursions. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Palenque > Departure
Transfer to Villahermosa Airport for your return flight.
