Day 1 – Cartagena
Arrival at Cartagena airport and shared transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon.
Day 2 – Cartagena City Tour & San Felipe Castle
Discover the fascinating history of Cartagena de Indias. Begin the experience with a tour of Cartagena Bay, followed by a panoramic view of the quiet Manga neighborhood, where the Republican architecture will transport you to bygone eras. Explore the imposing Fort San Felipe de Barajas, the largest colonial fortification in America. Then, immerse yourself in the historic, walled center, with time for craft shopping and an eye-opening walk through the historic streets and squares. Free afternoon to continue enjoying the city.
Day 3 – Cartagena
Free day to explore the city or do optional activities (Rosario Islands tour recommended).
Day 4 – Cartagena > Barranquilla City Tour
Transfer to Barranquilla and city tour in the afternoon. visit the emblematic sites of the city Barrio El Prado, Park, Metropolitan Cathedral, carnival museum, Edgar Rentería Stadium, Old Customs Building, Montoya Station, River Administration, Malecón Puerta de Oro, Shakira Sculpture on the Malecón, The Window to the World, and shark fin.
Day 5 – Barranquilla > Artisan Workshop
Begin the day by visiting a workshop of artisans who are dedicated to carving red ceiba wood with which they make the traditional and colorful masks of the Barranquilla Carnival. Learn about the process and make your own crafts. Free afternoon to go to the carnival museum and the center of Barranquilla.
Day 6 – Barranquilla > Santa Marta City Tour
Transfer to the hotel in Santa Marta. Upon arrival, enjoy a cultural city tour, taking a panoramic walk through Rodadero Bay and Santa Marta, Taganga Viewpoint, Customs House, El Pibe Valderrama Monument and the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino.
Day 7 – Tayrona National Park
Visit Cristal beach within the famous Tayrona Park, the ideal place for people who want to have some time to rest, disconnect from the noise and connect with nature. Begin the adventure at 7 Waves Beach, a viewpoint from where photographs of the bay are taken. Then take a boat (15 minutes) to reach Playa Cristal where you can do snorkeling (not included).
Day 8 – Santa Marta
Free day to explore the city, go to the beach or do an optional activity. (suggested: Playa Blanca or Minca).
Day 9 – Return
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
