Sarria
Arrival on your own to Sarria. Free time to visit this town where you can find various churches, chapels, monasteries and pilgrim hospitals, being the Church of Santa Mariña, the Castle-Fortress of Sarria and the Magdalena Monastery the most relevant. Arrival at the hotel. Accommodation.â â
Day 2
Sarria > Portomarín
BREAKFAST. This part is on foot. Walk through pretty towns and quiet villages crossing a forest of beech, oak and pine trees that will delight you. Walk along all kinds of paths and shortcuts from paved sections to the typical "correidoiras" where you jump from stone to stone to avoid water currents. Along the way, find numerous churches such as the Church of Santiago in Barbadelo or the Hermitage in Brea, which serves as a place for pilgrims to leave notices and messages that coincide with the marker at kilometer 100. After crossing the Miño River, arrive at the town of Portomarín.

Day 3
Portomarín > Palas de Rei
BREAKFAST. This part is on foot. In the first part, walk along paths next to the main road and in the second part on a paved track for pilgrims. Cross villages such as Gonzar and Ventas de Narón. It is worth highlighting in this stage the Romanesque Church of Santa María de Castromaior and that of Eirexe where we can contemplate a sculpture of the Pilgrim of Santiago, likewise in Lameiros take a moment to contemplate the famous Cruceiro. Once you pass Alto del Rosario, you will reach Palas de Rei.

Day 4
Palas de Rei > Arzúa
BREAKFAST. This part is on foot. Cross the interior of impressive rural trails with short but demanding ramps that take you into the last province of the Camino: La Coruña. Pass through the picturesque village of Leboreiro, its cobblestone floor leads to a cross and the Church of Santa María, which inside houses some sensational murals, declared by the Department of Culture a "heritage landmark of the Camino". Also pass through the Vega de Furelos, a magical enclave of this stage, which is accessed by a 12th century bridge with four pointed arches that will remind you of the primitive route. Arrive at Melinde, a town where it is a sin to leave without trying the octopus. After a constant up and down the valleys of the Ribedeira and Iso rivers and also through the small villages of Castañeda and Ribadiso da Baixo, arrive at Arzua.

Day 5
Arzúa > Rua/Amenalâ
BREAKFAST. This part is on foot. Throughout the day, you will pass through beautiful forests, quiet towns and streams that will grab your attention. You will have the opportunity to visit the Chapel of Santa Irene with its famous statue of Santiago. Then continue through eucalyptus forests. Arrive at Rua/Amenal.

Day 6
Rua/Amenal > Santiago de Compostelaâ
BREAKFAST. This is the last part and it is on foot.
Get up early in the morning to reach the Cathedral on time to give the Saint a hug and find a good place for the "Misa del Peregrino." This is a simple stage with moderate slopes that runs between leaf litter tracks and enclaves with a key Jacobean accent. Lavacolla, where pilgrims of yesteryear washed their entire bodies to arrive clean in Santiago, or Monte do Gozo, a small elevation from which you can already have a distant view of the towers of the Cathedral. Access Santiago through the San Lázaro neighborhood to the historic center and after a short walk, enter the monumental area to the foot of the Cathedral. Only during the holy years should pilgrims choose to enter the basilica through the Holy Door located in the Plaza de A Quintana. Santiago offers the pilgrim the reward for all their efforts. End of the road.
